K8 has worked together with Molift (now Etac.no) to develop their range of patient lifters; Smart, Partner, HiTrac and Swing. Working together with the Molift development team, K8 delivered concepts and prototypes which could be tested, refined and produced for market.

The independent lifting systems Smart and Partner are designed for intuitive ease of use - allowing access to the patient with a compact and flexible footprint with a focus on manoeuvrability. The patient can be stably lifted from the floor, lying or seated positions.

K8 assisted in development and testing of the devices, focusing on mechanics, ease of use, and not least the aesthetic qualities of the whole product range.
